Breaking Barriers, Building Futures: People with Disabilities in NI

Join us for our conference on International Day of Persons with Disabilities to celebrate the contributions and achievements of disabled people across Northern Ireland to our society.

You will hear from disabled people and their advocates about the progress made in employment, education, political and public life.

We’ll discuss the challenges and barriers that remain and what remains to be done to ensure people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to thrive and contribute to our society.

This conference is one of a series of events to mark the Equality Commission’s 25th anniversary and will be held in partnership with Belfast City Council and Disability Action.
