Critical Thinking with FactCheck NI

This 1.5 hour online session delivered by Orna Young, Managing Director of FactCheckNI will support you as you deal with information on a daily basis and help you to think critically.

Training in fact-checking and critical thinking skills aims to support everyone in dealing with the huge amount of information we’re all dealing with on any given day.

FactCheckNI is Northern Ireland's first dedicated non-profit fact-checking service. FactCheckNI works in local communities to help improve public discourse in Northern Ireland and empower everyone here.

In this online session we will cover:

  • Why fact-checking is important

  • Tips and tools on how to separate good information from bad information

  • How to think more critically

  • Issues impacting how we think

This session is for anyone in the voluntary and community sector who wants to improve how they deal with information and think critically about what they read.
