The Laugh Chapel Comedy Club for the Welcome Organisation

  • Voodoo 11A Fountain Street Belfast, Northern Ireland, BT1 5EA United Kingdom (map)

Gegs for a Good Cause - what could be better? The Laugh Chapel Comedy Club is the newest, bestest comedy club in Belfast! Guaranteed to make you laugh all while raising money for charity

After amazing success at their summer Laugh Chapel Comedy Club, in aid of domestic abuse charities in NI, they're doing it all over again! This time it's in aid of The Welcome Organisation - a charity supporting those sleeping rough on our streets.

They help people affected by homelessness through a range of services including a Drop-in Centre, Street Outreach service, Crisis Accommodation for Women, Floating Support service, Catherine House supported accommodation for women and a Mobile Health Unit.

They would not be able to do this without donations, so while you are laughing your socks off, every penny of profit made will be going into this organisation to keep their service going - class or what??

SO - the lineup (oh mummy it's a gooden) - Ian Thomson, one of the best, best, BEST in the business, will be headlining the night. The Laugh Chapel are lucky enough to have Jack Magee on MC Duties (who will be fresh off the back of his own sold out solo show) with guest spots filled by other amazing comics such as:

Luke McGibbon - Killed it in the Edinburgh Fringe, Long time promoter/runner/host of Monday Night Comedy @ the Pavilion

Paddy Raff - A legend in the NI Comedy Scene, famous for his brilliant stand up comedy and online sketches - we're soe excited to have him at the Laugh Chapel!

Ciaran Franco - after only 2 years in comedy, this guy has a ream of achievements already and is definitely going to be the NEXT BIG THING

They've got way more than that, so keep your eye on @thelaughchapel Instagram for a spotlight on all the amazing acts you'll see on the night!

There will be music between 19:30 and 20:15 from amazing local artists too - Homegrown, Evo and Khalifa Dreads :D

They are raising money through ticket sales and another brilliant raffle. There's a strip of raffle tickets included with the ticket price and opportunity to buy some more on the night too
